Smart Key System
This system enables you to operate the vehicle without using a mechanical key.
There is an answer-back function to help you locate the vehicle in a parking lot.
Main Switch
The main switch is used to turn the vehicle power on and off, lock and unlock the steering, and open the seat.
After pushing the main switch knob, the main switch can be turned while the smart key system indicator light is on (approximately 4 seconds).
How to Start Engine

Keep the key in your pocket (antenna is under driver seat)

Press the main switch knob and you will hear a click

Turn the knob to ON
-
Raise the side stand on the left
-
Squeeze the rear brake lever (left)
-
Press the START button on the right handlebar
How to Stop Engine
-
Stop the bike
-
Turn the knob to OFF
How to Open the Seat
-
Keep the key in range
-
Press the main switch knob and you will hear a click
-
Turn the knob to OPEN
-
Press the button SEAT
How to Close the Seat
-
Push down on the back to lock in position
How to Refuel
-
Keep the key in range
-
Press the main switch knob and you will hear a click

Turn the knob to OPEN
-
Press the button FUEL
-
Open the fuel tank cup lid
-
Refuel with gasoline 95
-
After refuelling, push the fuel tank cap lid until it is closed
How to Lock the Steering
-
Turn the handlebar all the way to the left
-
With the smart key turned on and within operating range, push the knob
-
While the smart key system indicator light is on, push and turn the knob to 🔒
How to Unlock the Steering

With the smart key turned on and within operating range, push the knob
-
While the smart key system indicator light is on, push and turn the knob to the desired position
⚠️ What to do if pressing the knob has no effect ⚠️
In this case, the scooter or the smart key battery are too low.
Please check that the smart key is in range, remember that the antenna is under the driver seat, so try to keep the key close to the front of the seat.
If nothing happens, look at the display, a yellow key indicator should appear.
If no indicator appears, then the scooter battery is too low.
Ask a mechanic for help, saying the battery is flat.
Please use the mechanical key to open the seat (lock is under the seat, as shown here).

Open the keyhole cover.

Insert the mechanical key into the seat lock, and then turn it clockwise.

Ignition Switch
Switches the electrical system on/off, locks the steering, and operates the fuel lid and seat opener switch.
How to Start Engine

Make sure that the Honda SMART Key is activated

To authenticate the Honda SMART Key system, push the ignition switch
-
When properly authenticated and the ignition switch is unlocked, the buzzer rings 2 times, the Honda SMART Key indicator and ignition switch ring come on

Turn the ignition switch to the I (on) position
-
Raise the side stand on the left
-
Squeeze the rear brake lever (left)

Press the START button on the right handlebar

Turn the ignition switch to 0 (off)
How to Open the Seat

Keep the key in range
-
Press the ignition switch and turn to SEAT/FUEL

Press the button SEAT
How to Close the Seat

Push down on the back to lock in position
